This is an awesome ski house! Walking distance to Alpine Meadows, a great hot tub & living area. We stayed here with 10 people and would stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the Eagle's Nest. You can't stay any closer to Alpine Meadows than this house. House was well equipped and had plenty of room for our group of 8. House/rooms are segmented, which was nice for some privacy and quiet at night. We couldn't get the wifi to function, which was a bit of bummer since some of us needed to work. Overall, excellent spot!

Closed roads, avalanches, downed trees, regional power outage, and too much snow to ski. And yet we all had a wonderful time taking in the beauty of it all. Thankfully, the gas fireplace kept us warm and the pool table kept us occupied. There was an emergency box with flashlights and matches that could use some additional supplies like working batteries. Beds were cozy with plenty of blankets and linens and the kitchen was well equipped.

Few small things: no shampoo in the bathrooms and the women weren't too happy about that. Also the strict 10am check out was not to our preference. Overall.. I MISS THE HOME ALREADY!!!

My husband and I share dthe house with our daughter, son-in-law and their 3 children and our son and daughter-in-law and grandson. It was roomy and perfect for our needs. The garage was a plus with the snow and cold weather at night. We liked the closeness to skiing and walks in the neighborhood. The best part was that when you were inside, you still got the enjoy the beauty outside - lots of windows in every room!
