Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids) in this house for a week and had a great time. It was clean, well maintained, and close to the beach. The upstairs got a little warm during the daytime (we were there 4th of July week) even though we kept the curtains closed, but the downstairs bedroom and living area remained very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a few extra fans for the upstairs bedrooms. We enjoyed the fire pit in the cool evenings and being between Kings Beach and Tahoe City so we could enjoy activities in both locations, Music on the Beach, Farmer's Market, boating, etc. I definitely recommend this home to stay in at Lake Tahoe and will be back again.

And if you thought you were missing something, the staff actually answered the phone and helped you right away! It was such a relief to work with such a professional company. We have been staying in Tahoe for 30+ yrs right down the street, and our family has just gotten too big so we needed to add a space. I am so glad we found Tahoe Getaways and hope to be able to include them every summer hereafter! Location of the property is a must see as well! Walking distance to beach, Safeway Grocery store, and a wonderful park for the children. Wish this place had 6 stars so I could give it that!

Booked the place for Thanksgiving and it worked out great. Kitchen had everything we needed (even an espresso machine). Hot tub was great, nice quiet location, quick drive to the ski resorts and some great hikes. Close to the Safeway for last minute cooking needs.

It doesn't seem to be kept up as nicely as it used to be. There were only two kitchen towels and three wine glasses. The kitchen has some VERY old pots and pans that have seen better days. We usually go out to dinner or get take out, but sometimes it's nice to be able to cook breakfast. We keep coming back because it's a sweet little cabin and we love the neighborhood. Also, it is close to our friends cabin down the street. So the location is perfect. Staying with Tahoe Getaways is easy and stress free, and they are always very accommodating to our needs which is why we keep coming back. Highly recommend them!

The kids loved the bunk bed room and having a separate family room on the bottom level with their room gave them their own play space. The kitchen was nicely outfitted with good cooking equipment. Also enjoyed the location, a quiet street and only a five minute walk to Moon Dunes beach. We hope to rent again on a future trip.
