The view from the back deck was as breathtaking as expected and the lodging bigger than pictured, well suited for our group of 12 adults. We felt our decision to stay in Truckee, as opposed to Tahoe, was a good one. Donnor lake is beautiful in itself and offers much with the association amenities, the quaint town of Truckee, river rafting, and sightseeing view from rainbow bridge. At the same time there was good access to the north and south ends of Lake Tahoe which allowed us to get in our hiking, kayaking at Sand Harbor and a relaxing boat excursion to Emerald Bay. We enjoyed it all!!

We cooked a lot, so the kitchen with the views was amazing. Bedrooms were wonderful and with our grandparents along, the 1st floor bedroom was key. We enjoyed exploring the little downtown nearby, with little shops and restaurants and the house was right off the interstate but also only a 20 minute drive to Lake Tahoe. Would definitely go back!! I also really enjoyed working with the management company, helpful and kind but not overbearing. The online portal was great!
