This house was the perfect setting for a family gathering: big open room with kitchen, outdoor sitting areas, front porch, walk to lake, and comfortable beds that allow for good sleep. Will stay here again - we all loved it.

We had such an amazing time at this rental I'm happy to give it an excellent review. I'll just go in order of what made the biggest impressions on me… The place was immaculately clean. We felt so safe. Every drawer we opened, every plate or utensil we used, the bathrooms, etc. All spotless. The cleaning crew did an amazing job and it just felt so clean and comfortable. The cleanliness was an excellent first impression and made such an impact on us. The location! We had considered a more remote cabin before booking this one. I'm so glad we went with this one. This place has so much great accessibility to many things. We could walk to the public lakeside beach, and to restaurants. The street was a friendly mix of locals and tourists. Wonderful access to everything we wanted and needed within minutes. The overall layout of the house was so accommodating to our family. We stayed there with a mother-in-law and a brother-in-law plus his girlfriend and our daughter. All of us had our own rooms and they were situated in the way we all felt we had privacy and couldn't hear or bother one another. We could have even slept a whole other family in the upstairs rec room. I loved that the downstairs living room didn't have a TV but the upstairs was a nice TV and game playing gathering space. We'd originally planned to bring our dogs but didn't (to give ourselves a break), but the house would have been very dog friendly as well. And to come full circle back to the cleaning crew… when we left, my mother-in-law unknowingly left her wedding and engagement rings behind! The cleaning crew found them, called the office, and the office made arrangements to FedEx them back to her in her home state. Naturally we could not have been more thankful of their honesty. This place is topnotch. We will be going back!! I hope others enjoy it in the future as much as we did ☺

The house is in great location, quiet, can walk to beach and grocery store (Safeway) and Golf. . Short drive to Tahoe Regional Park with lots of hikes and activities. Very Clean. We were 6 people for 7 days and quite comfortable. . Had a bit of trouble learning what was in house, in addition to what is standard list from rental mgmt company info, so to know what we needed to bring, here is what I found in August of 2023:Kitchen: Lots of skillets, saucepots, (2) Dutch ovens and several stewpots. Baking Sheets, pie pan (under oven). Casserole dishes in several sizes. Serving dishes & table trivets. Glasses of all types (Martini, wine, Highball, Rocks, Old Fashions, and several sizes of water). All the things for mixing drinks and opening wine, Several water pitchers. Lots of knives for food prep and lots of steak knives. The cutting boards were a bit rough - recommend you bring. Mixing bowls and colanders. Fondue pot (and forks), waffle maker, food processer & blender. All kinds of kitchen utensils. There were spices should you feel comfortable using. Fun adventure things: Hammock, about 4 beach/camp chairs, backpack cooler, soft cooler, pop up cooler, beach towels, croquet set, 5 tube floats with floating cooler, beach umbrella (on last legs), baby gate. Comfort things: Humidifiers & fansDidn't have: wagon or anything to use if walking with stuff to beach, enough washcloths for bathing.The kitchen was light on food storage space, so we moved the tchotchkes out of the etageres for more space. Awkward things: There is no direct access to backyard from inside house. Must go down front steps and walk around. It'd be a great improvement to install some steps from the backside of the deck to the gate. The house is seriously short on towel hooks. We struggled to dry our swimsuits, beach towels and bath towels. Washer is small, a 3 beach towel max machine. Was a great house for a crowd, plenty of room for fun.
