Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is the perfect escape all year long. We’ve had he pleasure of staying at this home in the winter and summer months. Last winter we enjoyed playing out back in the snow and driving the short distance to Donner downhill ski with our children. The home is spacious for a group to gather with room to spread out and enjoy the many amenities this house provides. During our recent stay this summer we spent a weekend enjoying the Truckee/Donner recreational center with pool and fitness center. The backdrop of the golf course from the house is stunning and very convenient for playing a round. We also drove down the road to explore Donner lake, which is beautiful! Boat and jet ski rentals right on the beach. So much to do within a 5-10 minute drive from this fabulous house. We had some delicious meals nearby and also appreciated being able to shop nearby for groceries and other necessities. The home is clean with beautiful bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. The bonus room downstairs is the perfect hangout space for kids of all ages. All of the beds are very comfortable and the house is stocked with plenty of cookware, linens and towels for a long stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this lovely Truckee getaway home again!

The kitchen was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was an awesome added bonus after a full day of skiing. Highly recommend and we will be back!

This is a wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood; perfect for a relaxing vacation. The house had plenty of space and we especially loved the large family room. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances and equipment we needed to prepare a few meals.
