This cabin was perfect for my mini family reunion. My nephew spent hours playing in the snow with my dog in the expansive forested area out back. The cabin was clean and equipped with everything we needed for cozy movie watching, cooking, coffee making, etc. The cabin is located in a residential area a few miles from the center of Tahoe City. Not necessarily close enough to walk, but it's only a 5 minute drive to all the shops and restaurants. We would certainly stay here again.

The house was newly renovated and was as advertised. My family had a great trip to Tahoe this past weekend and my kids had a blast playing in the snow surrounding the property. We had everything we needed on-site and Safeway was only a few miles away for other essentials. A few hooks for hanging jackets would have been nice -- I suspect they will get added once the reno is fully complete. The team at Tahoe Getaways kept in constant contact and made the process very easy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the Pineland Chalet and the rental agency! It was a great little getaway. Perfect for playing in the snow with the little one and the dog in the backyard. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Definitely bring a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The driveway is steep and did get icy.
