The house is well located if you plan to ski at Tahoe Donner Resort. The house is three levels so if you don’t mind the stairs it has a good setup for kids to burn off energy. The sloping lot is ideal for a sled run during the winter and has easy access at the rear. Good for a large or extended family stay. It can be challenging if there are two families as the lower level has the three rooms and master bedroom is by itself on the third floor. Fireplace is challenging to start, but once started it runs hot. Garage is tight for two cars but there is plenty of parking on site. House is well appointed and kitchen supplies is plentiful. No need to bring your own games or movies as the house is well stocked with subscription services/dvds, and board games galore. Overall we were happy with our stay. There are minor gripes but no deal breakers.

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Somehow, it was even nicer than the photos! There was plenty of space for our family of four.

Awesome house. Some standouts....Incredible views from the windows, fantastic kitchen for cooking large meals with the family, great hot tub with views. Being able to park in the garage during a snow storm made a world of difference. And the owners were super prepared for power outages with lots of lanterns and batteries. It made Xmas Eve dinner in the near dark pretty fun! The game room downstairs was great for a kid escape. Well-stocked for a family. Our dogs had a great time, too. Street is wonderful for walks and near trails. There's one master on the 3rd level, but the other adult bedroom is still great, just lacks views.

Easy check-in, everything was clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and a great layout for families with teens. The downstairs two bedrooms and family room were perfect for my teens. The property management company provides a starter kit of laundry and dishwasher detergent. We would definitely stay here again.

Tahoe Getaways was professional, responsive, and very helpful in finding a last-minute home that would suit our needs. Was able to book on the morning of check-in. They made sure I had all of the info needed to locate and enter the home. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and 1 dog. Main level has kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath & outdoor patio (dining table & grill outside). Downstairs has a game room, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry room & patio w/ hot tub. Third level has a main bedroom with its own bathroom (shower is tiny but there's a large soaking tub). The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware/dishes. Game room has fun options like foosball, darts, DVDs, and board games. Also had access to community pool and marina. Note that there are a lot of stairs, which may be an accessibility issue (even more difficult at the higher altitude), but also plenty of seating in each room. Was a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay!
