We stayed at Bitter Brush Retreat for a ski trip and had a fantastic time. The location is ideal — easy access to Northstar with great views of the surrounding mountains. The unit was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and clearly well-maintained. The space itself is comfortable and roomy, which was great for unwinding after long days on the slopes. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals in, and the amenities made the stay feel like a real retreat rather than just a place to sleep. Everything we needed was there. Honestly hard to find much to complain about. Would definitely recommend Bitter Brush Retreat to anyone planning a Northstar ski trip.

Amazing snow cabin. Open great room with beautiful windows overlooking snow golf course views and tree lines. Entertaining was effortless in the open floor plan. Hot tub was a huge plus. Beds were comfortable. Two master suites. Convenient shuttle transportation to Northstar was priceless. Great property, will stay again!

We loved this home. It's a great location with awesome amenities. We brought our three young kids here and they had a blast in their “Truckee House.” We will most likely stay in this location again if we come back!

The backyard view is a nice change of pace from other cottages: instead you get a golf course that's fun to watch from the hot tub.
It comes with the usual pros/cons of being managed by a corp. Pros are that it's very clean and as advertised. Cons is a laggy response time, and calculated answers to schedule flexibility. All in all, it's was a fantastic cabin for a summer weekend as long as your're happy with an electric BBQ 'grill' 😉
