The house was in a great location - very quiet. Clean. Was well stocked with linens, towels, kitchenware, patio furniture, gas BBQ with extra tank. Housecleaning was available at an extra fee and did a great job. Garage was available to store items and park vehicle. The layout of the house is perfect for a large group. Seperate area up and down with TV and den space. Large loft with 2 queen beds. For us, I appreciated all of the queen or king beds, as there were only adults and no need for bunk beds. Two bedrooms had full ensuite restrooms.

I loved it. My husband complained about the stairs! Too many of them. Lol. Other than that, it accommodated everyone in our family. I slept so sound. I wish we could of stayed longer to enjoy all of the amenities. We were there for a wedding at the Lodge, so it made it very convenient for us.

We were in Tahoe-Donner for a family wedding of 180 people who mostly rented houses. We are 5 adults in the Wood family from Hawaii. Beautiful wedding, beautiful weather & great house. Nice use of space...had a bachelor downstairs w/ hall bath. Had son & wife in lower Master and my husband and myself in the living room level Master. Festivities were at the golf course; so this home was conveniently located. We shall return! Aloha!

This was our second white Christmas staying at the Merry Muhlbach Lodge. Needless to say, it is our families favorite get together location for the holidays. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Once again we found the lodge very clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need for large family meals and entertaining. We took advantage of the snow and went sledding and skiing in the local areas. Very convenient with young children. We look forward to many more trips to Truckee. Thanks again!
