The community is amazing. Would be great if you're traveling with kids or a group. Swimming pool is beautiful/ huge & steps away.. BBQ community center etc. 5 minute drive from downtown Kihei area/ shops. We loved it. Bathrooms are gorgeous, kitchen, etc.. Would definitely come back!!
Patio was a bit dusty but can't complain!

We loved our stay in this property. It has everything that we need and more (body boards, beach chairs, etc). They have enough towels for all our family members, and the beds are comfortable including the sofa bed. We stayed at Kaanapali for our final day in Maui and spouse said that the sofa bed in this property is more comfortable than the one at Kaanapali. The kids enjoyed the spiral staircase too. A couple things that we noticed was the sock on the second level (maybe from the prior guest(s) and one of the lanai chairs was very dusty. But it didn’t negatively impact our overall experience staying in this property. Thank you!

We were on a girls’ trip for a wedding, and the condo was pretty much exactly as described. I was pleasantly surprised that the loft bedroom had its own ensuite bathroom, which was a great bonus. The condo was very clean and comfortable. There were only two of us, but there was definitely enough space for a family of six.
The location was great and within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. I would recommend renting a car if you plan to explore the area, although Uber was also very convenient.
I would have given it five stars, but the balcony furniture was quite dusty and looked a little worn, and the pool area could use some updating.
Overall, we had a very good stay and would definitely recommend this condo!

Absolutely outstanding stay at Koa Resort in Kihei – pure Maui magic for our family! We spent a wonderful week in July in a privately owned condo at Koa Resort and it completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, it felt like a true home away from home rather than a typical hotel room. The full kitchen was stocked and ready, the towels were plentiful and soft, beach chairs and boogie boards were waiting for us, and every little detail made daily life easy and comfortable. The central Kihei location is unbeatable. We were steps from beautiful beaches, great restaurants, shops, and everything we wanted to do, yet the property itself felt relaxed and peaceful. More like a small peaceful neighborhood than a busy resort. Coming back each evening to our clean, well-equipped condo after a day of swimming, snorkeling, and exploring was the perfect way to end the day. Having Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and the other streaming services ready to go made nights even better—we’d unwind with movies together instead of fighting over limited hotel channels. What really sealed the deal was the value. The price was excellent and transparent—no inflated resort rates, no sneaky resort fees, no surprise charges at checkout. That meant we could put more of our budget toward the experiences that matter: snorkeling trips, boat excursions, and great meals out, without worrying about a huge hotel bill hanging over us. If you’re looking for a genuine, comfortable, well-located place in Kihei that lets you live like a local while still feeling special, this is it. We already miss it and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend!
