We really enjoyed K307!!! Every room was perfect, clean and comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was supplied. The view of the property, pool, and the ocean was wonderful. We did have an issue with the smell of marijuana in our bathroom, which was coming through the vent. It was coming from the room on the bottom floor. We reported it to the office so I hope it can be taken care of before someone else uses this room. Other than that we enjoyed this unit very much.

We really like the unit. It has everything we could want in it. The view of the grounds, the pool and most importantly the ocean are fantastic. The room was clean and in good repair. We did have to use the bedroom remote on the living room TV as the living room remote is completely different and not compatible. Front desk gave us a Spectrum remote but I couldn’t pair it. On the other side of things, the full time tenant on floor 1 (107) we are (307) is allowed to smoke marijuana and it comes into our room through the bathroom vent system. We are 99% certain he/she is the pot user because it can be smelled when walking past his front door. We reported it to the front desk and it stopped for a day but was back last night and this morning which shouldn’t be part of our vacation. This is VERY disappointing since this is supposed to be a smoke free facility. We are not smokers and more so not pot smokers and we are repulsed by the odor. I gave a 5 out of 5 because 4.5 was not available. This is our 2nd time to Papakea but different building. Take away the pot odor/smoke and this was a great stay. 5 of 5. Outstanding staff was Amelia and Christine. I hope the pot issue can be resolved for future guests.

The kitchen in K307 is well thought out in terms of appliances and cooking utensils - great variety of items to make it easy to bake, cook or BBQ. The bed was comfortable and the sleeper sofa was even comfortable to sit on which is not always the case. The balcony was very multi-functional with a variety of dining and lounge seating options, and the light in the living room coming in from two sides is wonderful. Overall a lovely experience.

We always enjoy staying at Papakea! The grounds are beautiful, family-friendly, and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The unit was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed.
We had a kitchen sink issue upon arrival, but after messaging the host, someone came out and fixed it the next day while we were out, which we appreciated. During our stay, the entry door lock also needed repairs, delaying our morning plans by about an hour.
A few minor maintenance items could make this unit even better. One bathroom sink stopper wouldn’t stay up, a threshold between the bedroom and hallway was lifting, and the sliding lanai door was extremely difficult to open and close. It was stiff enough that I worried someone could accidentally get stuck on the lanai if they weren’t careful. The bed was also a bit noisy when turning over.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again. A little routine maintenance would make this an even better unit. 🌺

Our stay at Papakea was fantastic. It is the perfect place to relax and is centrally located to beaches, shopping, etc. We never had difficulty finding a spot by the pool or an open barbecue and the resort's activities (free Mai Tai Thursdays, putting contests, and more) were bonuses. Looking forward to our next Papakea visit.

We just returned from an amazing 10-day stay at this Papakea condo in Maui through My Perfect Stays, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the staff at Papakea were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The condo itself was spotless, and our hosts went above and beyond by leaving a wonderful assortment of Hawaii-themed treats waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful touch and a great way to start our vacation. One of the things we appreciated most was how well-equipped the condo was for beach days. The cooler, beach umbrella, chairs, beach mats, and towels saved us a significant amount of money on rentals and made it easy to enjoy Maui's beautiful beaches. We also appreciated having access to a vacuum—despite our best efforts, the sand inevitably found its way inside, and it was nice to be able to keep the condo tidy throughout our stay. Parking was always easy, with plenty of spots close to the unit, and the car wash station was surprisingly useful for rinsing off sandy shoes and gear after long beach days. Perhaps our favorite amenity was the washer and dryer, along with the provided laundry pods and dryer sheets. For a 10-day vacation, this was absolutely invaluable. Being able to do laundry throughout our trip made packing easier and kept everything fresh and comfortable. The Papakea property itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and quiet. After long days exploring the island and soaking up the sun, we were able to get excellent sleep every night. The location is fantastic—close to all of West Maui's attractions and beaches. Within a five-minute walk, you'll find a food truck park with more than 10 food trucks, a coffee shop, an ABC Store, and other convenient options. Everything about this location made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. We truly can't wait to return to Maui and stay at this property again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed, and perfectly located home base for their Maui vacation!
