Super! Nothing bad to say, really clean. Perfect, i would go back 100%!

We ALWAYS stay at Papakea. The staff at the front desk is polite, the grounds are well tended to, walkable to grocery and more. Our unit was managed by My Perfect Stays and they make sure everything is top notch and we are well taken care of. Fantastic communication before, during, and after.

This resort is a must if you're going to Maui and want oceanview with perfect grounds and pool. A much less relaxed, less expensive and less upscale than Wailea. Here you can walk to shopping and a grocery store along with food trucks super close. Papakea property is perfect! Our condo at building B is super close to water with whales in the distance. Bring binoculars!! Condo is well equipped with beach chairs, boards and towels. I see why there's no umbrellas as the winds in Maui are strong. I highly recommend this resort. The only thing missing at Papakea is a central bar and grill type of eatery. BBQ's are on hand though at each pool. Hottub is also here. Nearby are restaurants such as The Beach Bar at Outrigger and the famous Dukes Restaurant with Hula Grill down a ways. We would definitely return to this location. Don't forget binoculars!!!! Lanai and Molokai are right in front too! Spectacular!!!!!

Great location, resort very nice and clean and had a small town feel. We felt safe and comfortable here at all times of the day. With all the resort fees and cleaning fees added on to this place it was over priced for what you got. Bed linens popped off the mattress constantly and there were quite a few ants in bathroom and kitchen.
