This was my second stay at Kapalua Bay Villas, so I knew I would like the complex, area and surroundings. It's quiet and not as dense as other areas in Maui, yet you are close to Onelua Beach (beautiful and less crowded) and Kapalua Bay. We love morning runs on the coastal path and beaches and sunset on the lawn above Kapalua Bay. This unit was nicely appointed with beach themed furnishings and decor and we liked the 2 floor plan. Great kitchen! Appreciated the Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, coolers and snorkel gear. Lots of windows and great access to outside. It was also nice being an end unit with a larger lawn area. The only drawback is that this unit is the first one as you enter the complex and the maintenance team comes through the lawn with their vehicles and you get a little more car traffic as it is close to the gate. The views of Molokai are great, but due to the location, you don't have much view of the water and you oversee the tennis courts.
