This is a beautifully remodeled, functional, roomy and comfortable one bedroom condo in Maalaea Harbor area. The unit is stocked with high quality amenities and necessary items. We stayed for seven nights and had enough towels, paper items soaps, etc. The unit is a few steps from the pool and a few steps from the beach. The sounds from the waves on the beach and the birds singing make for a delightful vacation. The air conditioning is powerful, but if you turn it off, turn on the fans and open the windows with screens, it is so comfortable and pleasant sounds around. The bed is very comfortable. The sofa bed is adequate. The bathroom is nicely remodeled. The person from My Perfect Stays checks on our needs daily by text or email and responds quickly to any questions or requests we have. We totally enjoyed our stay.

 This was my third stay at Hono Kai and my first time in unit A3. The location is perfect for me, as it offers direct oceanfront access with miles of sandy beach for early-morning runs and late-night stargazing. Maalaea is centrally located, making it easy to access anywhere in Maui. A3 is a nice ground-level unit that is well-equipped for meal preparation, features a comfortable bed, and has a lovely lanai just steps from the seawall. nice lanai steps from the seawall.
