This location was simply amazing. We came here for our honeymoon and could not ask for more. Amazing views from our lanai, we woke up with the sunlight and the sunsets were just incredible. Couldn't believe the size of the sea turtles that would come ashore to sleep. Having a beach within steps of our condo was simply the best. The location of Hale Mahina is also very convenient. 10 minutes to Honolua Bay, 10 minutes to the restaurants in Lahaina. Bad Ass coffee was only a couple minutes walk and there are tons of food options close by. The condo itself was nice and cozy and even though there is no ac, when it gets hot during the day, go take a swim in the ocean. The ocean breeze at night was enough to keep us cool. Overall great value. We will definitely come back here in the future. I miss it already.

What incredible family vacation we just had! The place was amazing. Steps to the beach, beautiful views, perfectly clean and all the necessary amenities included. We will definitely be back and tell loved our ones all about this special place!

This place was so perfect and hospitable. Loved that the beach was pretty private and not too many people. Loved being able to lounge right outside our room and going for a dip in the pool. Definitely will be coming back and recommending it to everyone we know.

If you are looking for an amazing condo right on the ocean, this is the place for you. This incredible ground level unit is just steps away from the beach and ocean. We absolutely loved the ability to walk out to the grass, tables, and barbecues without having to go down stairs and through a gate. In addition to an amazing view of the ocean and extremely easy beach access, there is a great pool and hot tub to enjoy as well. All perfect locations to watch the immaculate sunrises and sunsets. The condo itself is in a wonderful location that is a short drive to downtown Lahaina and close to several walking trails. You are so close to so many things that you have the incredible option to go out and do things or just relax by the beach. The owners of this condo have done an AMAZING job with upkeep and updates that didn't go unnoticed. My wife and I have stayed in several units at Hale Mahina Beach Resort and this one is by far the best unit without a doubt. It's equipped with everything you need to cook in the condo or BBQ out on the grass. There are tons of ocean floaties, a boogie board, sand toys, and so much more provided to make your stay on the island is one you won't forget. They even provide an umbrella stroller if you choose to bring a little one. As parents not having to bring a stroller was a true blessing. It's hard to imagine we will return to Maui and not stay at this property and in this unit. If everything listed above wasn't enough, once you arrive you will notice a guest book by the couch. This book has been signed by all the previous guests and each guest has left numerous recommendations and tips for things to do while you are there. The choice(s) are yours. Hopefully this review was helpful and that you get a chance to stay in this beautiful little unit in west Maui.

This is our third stay at Hale Mahina and first time in this unit. Having a toddler being in the ground floor was amazing. The unit was very airy and private. A few beach towels didn’t look clean and the bed had a faint smell of body odor. The host was very quick to respond which we appreciated. We would stay in this unit again.

The property was well furnished with everything you could need. This property is great if you want to hang out at the beach. We loved the location and access to the water. We would stay here again.
