We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was very clean and in a fairly small building, which limited the amount of people directly in the area. Since it's farther north than "downtown Kihei", the beach, while small, only had residents of the building on it. There's a good assortment of beach chairs in the back lawn and there were always some available. The interior is a bit dated, but well maintained and clean. The kitchen was nicely provisioned and you can easily cook a variety of meals here. The building is fairly quiet, though you can still hear loud TVs and sliding glass doors slamming in nearby units. Since it's close to a couple of major roads, there is a good amount of traffic noise (but it drops off after dark). It was nice to have air conditioning, but the AC unit was pretty weak and never dropped the temperature very much. Still, better than no AC, and also nice to stay cool inside with the windows closed when we didn't want to hear the traffic!
