Our family of 4 (all adults) thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of J406! It fit us perfectly! It is located on the top floor of the building, which allows for a vaulted ceiling and loft bedroom. We loved the big open feel of the space. All photos shown of the spaces and views are accurate. Though on the back corner of the property the view is not lacking, even from within! The owners have placed a genius mirrored wall that allows you to see the ocean and active waves when standing in the kitchen and living area.-just beautiful!!
This unit came with comfy beds, plenty of towels (bathroom and beach), beach chairs, a cooler, beach umbrellas and even a boogie board! The kitchen well equipped and was perfect for fixing breakfast, quick lunches and had everything to help us have a fun cookout using the grilles near the pool!
It was warm during our stay, so having AC and ceiling fans was a real plus!
This is a great find for accommodations in the Kaanapali/Lahaina area. It is close to the always fun ABC Store, a grocery, gas station and an amazing array of food trucks and local restaurants.
While there is not a beach as part of the property, top notch beaches and snorkeling coves are so close! We are beach and water people, but quite honestly we found sitting on the lounge chairs, on the manicured grass right at the ocean wall, watching the sunset and not having to wash off sand before heading back to the unit wonderfully refreshing.
We had the best time in Maui and the Papakea Resort was a big part of that. You can't go wrong with this resort or unit J406!

Great location with amazing views. Loved the grounds and the ability to just sit and take in the sounds and sites of the ocean. No immediate beach access, but it’s a quick drive away. Loved this place and we will definitely be back!!

Great condo, with a view of the ocean and all the basic amenities - exactly as described in the write-up (because we've been burned before, this is something I now call out in all my AirBnB reviews). It's perfect for families with a 5 minute walk to food-trucks, an ABC Store and a grocery store. There is no real beach off of the property but you can drive a short distance to get to some fabulous beaches. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a great location. There were food trucks within walking distance to go and try out some great food and be outside. We stayed here with our two teens and it was perfect for a family of four. I like our location as it is close to the parking lot and a quick walk to the pool area. The lounge chairs overlooking the ocean were always available. The place was great. Only grievance was when we walked in the sliding closet door for the washer and dryer was "off" and leaning against the washer and dryer. Also, the drapes/curtains were not fully attached to the curtain rod. I was surprised these two things weren't "fixed" before we checked in. Strange. We did report it upon checking in and the curtains were never fixed. ???? Thus, we could not close them completely for privacy. Only complaint.

We enjoyed our stay so much that it was hard to come home.
