We didn’t even realize how close the lanai was from the ocean- literally steps. This property gave us a nice home base for the week. We were very happy with our choice.

+ The direct ocean access backyard is 🔥 Amazing ocean view, great spot to enjoy some beach time, we saw a bunch of turtles right from the backyard beach
+ The condo itself is good, visited in late November, no AC but ceiling fan is very much enough
+ Condo feels very spacious
- Some furnitures feels a little old, backyard door was hard to slide open
- Saw one cockroach in kitchen cabinet (I stayed here for 7 days, consider Maui is a very hot and humid place, this is probably expected, the condo is very clean)
- Bedroom window faces toward the parking lot, so very occasionally you’d hear cars driving by at night
- Bedroom wall is a little thin, can hear neighbors closing their doors
- Checkout instructions are sent to me through email on the very last day, not Airbnb message nor in Airbnb house rules, which I missed because I don’t frequently check emails while on vacation
Overall it’s still a great stay, the amazing oceanfront backyard overrules all the negatives, I’d still recommend!

This condo has everything needed for a great beach vacation!

Hale Mahina is a wonderfully designed, relatively small set of condominiums, an absolutely beautiful location just yards from the beach, with its own outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and communal barbecues. The design of the buildings and strategically placed foliage gives each unit a relatively private lanai. Unit A102 is on the ground floor, very helpful for me because I'm semi disabled and stairs are difficult for me. The unit is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully outfitted. Although the units are not air conditioned, just open the vented windows and the door to the lanai and the trade winds will cool you off. Myperfectstays made the whole process easy. I loved the coffee included in the welcome basket. One of our best vacations ever.

What a wonderful property! Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Communication with the management company was great. The sunsets were amazing. There was even a "guest" turtle on the beach. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Other folks staying in apartments/condos were very friendly, respectful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again when returning to Maui.
