Resort was just outside the highend Kaanapali resorts which was nice. Easy access to the beach, walk on the boardwalk, get in the water, but leave the resort and go back to your own place. Nice!

We couldn’t have asked for anything better! The location was great (the beach is right across the street!), and my family and I loved being able to cool off in the pool, too. The actual residents of the community were very nice and helpful, too. We can’t wait to come back!

The location is perfect to the beach and the community is well kept. The condo was beautiful and clean.

We stayed 5 nights at the International Colony this past week. The property certainly stood up to our expectations. The location is across the highway from Ka’anapali Beach making it very easy to walk over anytime. Not quite walking distance to town though we did walk along the beach walk to Whalers Village for dinner.
The unit itself is nicely furnished with modern amenities. It is a very vintage Hawaiian cottage with open rafter ceilings and louvered windows. Truly added to the charm.
That being said, we felt the shower was a tad dingy and deserved a deep clean. Also, the master bedroom, while beautiful and airy, the bed is pretty uncomfortable. Thin mattress with very little support and squeaky with every little move. We didn’t get good sleep at all. But we were in Hawaii so it’s hard to complain!

Well done renovations in an older community. It was very cute and convenient to the beach, Lahaina and more.
