Very clean and well maintained grounds. Family friendly, felt very comfortable and safe. Our unit was exactly as it appeared in the pictures.

The property was in a good location. Pool was good as was the hot tub at the property. Unit had everything you need. Food options and grocery not far away. Only downside was the downstairs guest room didn’t get air from the window mount AC in the dining room so the room was a bit warm even with the flip out panel windows open and ceiling fan on. Upstairs room seemed to be cooler. Overall was very clean, beds were fine, size was good, balcony was nice to have breakfast on, and had a decent view from the balcony of the property and water. They have tennis courts on the property to. Parking close to the unit at night was sometimes a challenge. They also have family activities on site like leai making. Would consider to stay again but would prefer some AC in the downstairs bedroom as was a bit warm during our stay outside in June like in the upper 80s.

This unit worked well for our family of four (with two adult children). It was nice to have the third bed and a kitchen. The view from the balcony is nice and the sunset view from the pool area was perfect. We used the pool and the pickle ball courts during our stay and walked down to the sandy beach just off the property. Also within walking distance is a convenience store and an area of food trucks that we visited for dinner one night. My Perfect Stays made the check-in process easy and explained the amenities well. Although the unit needs a little updating, we enjoyed our stay and would consider Papakea again.

Great location, very nice staff, clean

We loved our stay at the Papakea! The unit was on the 4th floor and had a beautiful view of the koi pond below and the ocean beyond. The loft and upstairs bathroom were perfect for our teens, and we enjoyed the downstairs bedroom. There is no dining room table, but we enjoyed eating dinner on the balcony which has a table and 4 chairs. The unit was clean and bright, and we kept the windows and balcony door open which kept the unit cool without needing to turn on the air conditioner. We had a great time - highly recommend!

We had a great stay. The unit's setup was perfect for our family and the deck is awesome for morning coffee with a view. We appreciated the beach towels, boogie boards, cooler, ice pack, umbrellas, and beach chairs. Those really made the trip a wonderful experience as we used them every day for our outings! Mahalo!
