Valley Isle unit 1109 was great. I prefer staying at units managed by My Perfect Stays as I know they will be clean and nicely stocked with the basics (and it was)! We appreciated the welcome gift. Mahalo! The unit is older and has a few flaws so if you are into luxury, head south to the resorts. The bathroom does not have a door on it except for the slatted folding door in front of a toilet. This is shown in the photos. If you are wanting more toilet/shower privacy that that, you may want to choose a different unit. You also cannot turn on the toilet light without turning on the vanity light (very bright-it was great for getting ready). The front screen door does not lock securely and as there is no AC, the bedroom window needs to be open with the shutters turned open and the bedroom door left open in order to have the tradewinds cool the unit. This was not a problem for us but may be for people wanting more privacy. I mention these things not to complain but so others are aware because if these things matter to you, they will be a big deal. I was able to overlook those and any other minor things because the views from both the bedroom and the lanai are incredible and amazing. Truly oceanfront, much time was spent watching turtles and sunsets. We also saw an eagle ray and a monk seal go by. The view from the lanai was worth any minor thing that may not have been perfect. The unit was clean and comfy and we’d stay there again. Thank you, My Perfect Stays, for another awesome vacay! Aloha!
