Everything was perfect.. Location amazing, staff great! Had a fantastic time!

Noelani was fantastic. I was skeptical due to the low price and lack of reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The pictures are absolutely accurate: You are right on the water! There is about a 5 foot drop-off and rocks below that you can climb on, and a sandy beach about a quarter-mile north (you can see it if you walk out your back porch). It is in a very quiet community with a few stores nearby, but nothing really within walking distance (everything is 1 mile or more away). When I called Noelani for more information, they recommended that we rent a car if we were going to stay on that part of the island.

As is common in Hawaii, there is no air conditioning that comes standard at Noelani, however they do have a portable unit that they rent out for $12/night. It hooks right into the bedroom (we stayed in a 1BR), so the living area will stay a bit warm if you go during the hot times.

We accidentally locked our keys in the house after hours, but not to worry, they have someone that lives on site for just such emergencies, and he opened the door for us.

If we are lucky enough to ever make it back to Maui, we are definitely staying at Noelani again.
