Unfortunately this will not be a positive review for this property. I will say Dawn and the NEVR team were accommodating and understanding of our situation and were helpful. I wish I had anything good to say about this property. When we arrived the yard was almost unusable. The lawn clearly had not been cut for some time and the previous occupants left ~20 individual dog poops outside that had to be cleaned up. I then had to contact NEVR to get a landscaper out there to cut the lawn and the high weeds that were covering the mulched area by the shed (pictures show a well manicured property, this is not true). With tick season I did not want my dogs or 1 year old son running around out there. We brought linens and went to put them on the bed in the main bedroom only to discover a large pee stain that had gone through the mattress pad and stained the bed. On day two we arrived back from lunch to find two random men installing a new storm door. Nobody made us aware of it and we were very surprised to see two unknown men working on the house. They were extremely loud and made it difficult for my 1 year old to sleep. On day 4 the roof started leaking and water started to come through the ceiling in the living room as well as above the microwave (it actually started flowing through the microwave and onto the stove). We had to call the fire department to come shut the power to the kitchen off. As far as cleanliness goes, the NEVR team did do a good job but there is more than meets the eye. The utility room was littered with mouse droppings and I had to kill ~20-30 water bugs throughout the 4 days. If you feel like sleeping knowing these bugs are inside your home, on your food and possibly in your bed then this is the home for you! We finally had enough and called NEVR for a refund. Do not be fooled by the carefully crafted words in the house description or the pictures (I’d call these illusions). The house is a dump and the owner clearly does not care. If you don’t believe me, then rent this house and step through the front door under the rotted out front beam. You will immediately understand why this property should be removed from this website. Do not waste your hard earned money on a property where the owner is looking to make a quick buck. I’ve rented down the cape for 10 years and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Do not risk your vacation with this home, you deserve better.

Great place for my family. Central to many different spots, amenities provided, and really good communication. Would definitely recommend.
