Love this place! Exactly what I envisioned a cottage at the Cape would look like. Full of natural sunlight, calming colors and serene with 1 min walk to the ocean. Pure gem! Most definitely, I would come back again.

We've been staying at Seaside for years and a few times in Cottage 19, which we love. Its updated and enough space to feel comfortable for a week or 2 stay. Owner is thoughtful and clearly cares about their guests and its well stocked for convenience. We love that we have the option of grilling out and steps away from the private beach. We've made friends over the years and look forward to seeing them each year. However, since mgmt and maintenance has changed a couple times over the past few years we are disappointed how the grounds have become neglected. There used to be beautiful flowers and green grass throughout and now the past couple years (this summer I think being the worst) there's nothing but dirt and matted dead grass. Please don't say its because of the drought b/c every other house and resort along South Street from end to end had beautiful flowers and green grass. That's part of the beauty and attraction to the Cape. Also, very minor, but the cleaning is barely existent. While the cottages we've stayed in recently look clean, they are not... the floors may be swept but they're filthy (my husbands white socks are black by end of the day), dirty behind toilets, cooktops caked with crud along the edges, sticky fingerprints on the fridge/freezer doors. Honestly, I think the cottages we stay in are cleaner when we leave! This certainly won't stop us from coming but if everyone is paying for cleaning they should do a better job. I've seen them and they go as fast as they can in and out barely caring (1/2 time on their cells). Also, it would be nice if grill grates were replaced. All but one are cockeyed/lopsided. hard to cook on. Otherwise, current staff is friendly, check in and out is efficient, easy and great (just what we like). We'll be back next summer and would love the landscaping to looked improved. tx!

Our stay here was phenomenal! It was so nice to be right on the beach and very close to so many cool restaurants and attractions! Memories made here will last a lifetime!!
