This house has practically everything that you need for an excellent day. We truly enjoyed the space, the views, the pond and the amenities. When we went to the beach, we had beach chairs and an umbrella. when we needed to cook we had the supplies we needed. We used the kayaks on the pond and play ping-pong in the basement. I highly recommend this property. I will note that my husband noticed the property was right next to the airport and we were concerned that we would have noise from the planes. We did not experience that at all for anyone concerned. The only negative is having to bring your own linens and towels.

This was the best house I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was wonderfully comfortable and spacious. Everything was in great working order. The little lake was beautiful and we really enjoyed the kayaks. The fenced in yard was perfect and the rest of the backyard beyond the fence included little walkways and beautiful sitting areas to enjoy watching the birds. We were really suprised and delighted with the home. The photos of the house and grounds are lovely but there’s no way to capture how wonderful this property is. It was such a special week; we so appreciated having our pups with us. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It overlooks Blue Pond, which connects to White Pond, so there is a nice view from the deck. It is literally a 2 minute bike ride to the Chatham Bike trail, which connects to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. There are many good restaurants in Chatham. We stayed at this house for a few years starting in 2009. It has changed owners, with many improvements. We certainly hope to return. We had a great time at this house! But here are some constructive points to improve future experiences. Some attention could paid to; need a new cloths dryer, downstairs toilet needs adjustment, tank takes too long to refill, all showers would benefit from having a hand-held shower attachment to help wash off sand in bathing suit & on feet, an outdoor garden hose would help to wash off beach chairs/rafts/kayaks for trip home, continued improvements to access down to beach would be great (currently very steep & steps seem too tall/unsafe), kitchen sink faucet still a bit loose fitting, freezer doesn’t get cold enough, expand beach size a bit more. Again, a beautiful home, and we had a great time, hope the comments above are helpful for any future consideration. However, I did want to point out a few things so you will know for next time! The outdoor shower located outside of the walk out lower level is where any sand should be washed off as most Cape homes are on a septic system so showering sand off is destructive to the system. The beach cannot be made larger as there are strict (protective conservation) rules regarding the alteration of waterfront spaces on Cape. And some good news - the kitchen faucet was recently replaced since you were here! Again, we appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again next year!
