The Hideaway is such a rare and special gem. Secluded and incredibly peaceful - it truly feels like a private slice of heaven. Clean, thoughtfully designed, and with gorgeous views all around, it is truly a unique and very special experience to be able to stay here. The abundance of natural light from all the windows is absolutely breathtaking too. I hope to stay here again next summer and highly recommend this rental property to any individual or couple looking to stay in the Cape Cod area. The location is perfect and central to everything and I had the absolute, most perfect stay.

Fabulous location right on Scorton Creek. Ideal for bird watching and watching the tide flow in & out. Bed is very comfortable.
For over $500 a day, the price should have included the bedsheets and bath towels, though. Having to rent them only added stress--would they actually be there when we arrive and what to do with them when we leave? Clearer instructions on how to use the self-check-in lock would also have been appreciated. After a long day of travel, we had to stand outside for 30 minutes upon arrival while the renting company tracked down the cleaning crew to find out how the lock worked. There are lots of windows in the unit, which really enhances the views of the creek. Problem is there are no shades or curtains on the windows, so the daylight comes pouring in at sunrise. If you like to take an afternoon nap the sunlight beats right down on the bed. Screens on the doors and window would be nice too, so you can leave them open without letting in all the bugs.

This property is truly a hidden gem. It is located down a long driveway off of 6A. The yard backs up to a tidal marsh that is ever changing. Great place for the dogs to explore and swim. The house is perfect for a couple— quite cozy and romantic, tastefully decorated. Morning coffee and views from second floor balcony were a great way to start the day. Beautiful plantings and lovely walk to a little beach. Great kitchen area for cooking. A magical place.

The post and beam house is beautiful! Amazing views from the gorgeous back windows, especially upstairs. It was cozy and inviting for the two of us and our Chocolate Lab. It was very warm the few days we were there, so our dog spent a lot of time swimming in the back along the tidal marsh. It was so fun to watch him running through and grabbing clam shells off the bottom at low tide.This was a last minute vacation for us....short, but sweet!

It’s quiet, private, light-filled, and lovely. The walk out to the private peninsula is magic. And the NEVR team was gracious and responsive. We’ll definitely be back.
