My family had a wonderful, memory filled week at the Heron's Nest. The host company was very responsive to our concerns and needs. The home is in a beautiful setting, and we especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck for meals. Ridgevale beach was a very walkable 12-15 minutes with a 5 year old and wagon in tow. :) We made use of the provided beach chairs and umbrellas. We also appreciated the games and table tennis in the basement. The outdoor shower (with hot water!) was useful to rinse off before heading back into the house after a beach day. The house definitely exceeded our expectations!

What a fabulous place to stay! House was beautiful and spacious. There was plenty of room to gather with family - together and a basement for the teens to hangout equips with games and a ping-pong table. The house is set back for added privacy, and the neighborhood is beautiful. The best part is it is only a short 10 minute walk to a beach where you can (of course) swim and rent kayaks. It's about a 9 minute drive to downtown Chatham with some great shops and restaurants. We had a fabulous time at this great home and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. We would love to stay again!

As we have experienced in the past with our stay at The Heron's Nest we had another 5 star stay. We appreciate the continued upgrades to the home (e.g. new Adirondack chairs) and the many kitchen accoutrements. The only negative is that it did not look like the deck had been swept in some time nor table/chairs wiped down. Once we took care of this, this location was a favorite play to be morning, noon, and evening.

This was our second stay at the Heron's Nest and it was even better than we remembered. We did have a problem with the refrigerator but we called the rental office and they took care of the problem promptly. The home and location are lovely and we would highly recommend it to others.
