The perfect place to get away from it all! Cute immaculate house with a gorgeous view of the ocean and just a few steps to a private beach. It makes you feel like you are in a different world, but yet only minutes from Dennis and Barnstable. Beautifully furnished with a modern kitchen and it even has an outdoor shower! Such a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage. This is our 2nd year vacationing here and we love every moment. The weather was amazing and we had such a great time on the beach building sand castles, exploring low tide, swimming and soaking up the summer sun!! The view is amazing both during the day and night! We are sad to leave but will take our wonderful memories with us.

Our stay at the Winthrop House in Cummaquid was truly special. From the moment we arrived, the house felt welcoming — bright, spotless, and clearly cared for. It had that rare mix of comfort and charm that immediately puts you at ease. One of our favorite parts of the stay was how close we were to the water. We loved starting our mornings with a quiet walk on the beach, watching the light come across the harbor, and ending the day with breezy evenings outside. The neighborhood is very quaint and peaceful, with easy access to all the things that make Cape Cod feel magical. We also loved how close the home is to all the places we wanted to see. There are great local restaurants, small shops, and scenic spots that made exploring effortless. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away, but the property still felt like its own private retreat. Our hosts were wonderful: thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great stay. It made the whole experience feel personal and cared for.
