Resort unit was very clean and generally well-appointed. Close by parking space. Two suggestions--brighter wattage light bulbs over bathroom sinks; kitchen utensils including a pizza cutter and ice cream scoop would help guests cooking in the unit. Also, we rented for additional days beyond one week. One weeks supply of dish tabs was provided (7). This required purchase of a bag/box of dish tabs. For guests who stay a few days beyond one week and up to an additional week, it would be considerate of owners and management to supply a few extra dish washing tablets. Finally, we have commented on previous stays about no chair or bench for sitting in the bedrooms. We were told by management reps that "owners can decorate as they please." It is not a decorating issue, but a safety issue for guests over age 70 years (our party included) to have to sit on the bed, or edge of bathtub to dress or relax. If there are minimum standards for owners who rent to guests, the standards should be enforced. A steamer trunk in a bedroom is not a suitable place to sit for dressing purposes. Please consider the ages of guests who require some minimal accommodations (not handicapped) but making the stay in these units reasonable and safe for residing in. Thank you for considering suggestions which would be helpful for all guests. Addressing this issue would go a long way for guests considering renting again at Na Hale O Keauhou.

Great place !!

Nice house. Nice pool. Nice hot tub. Nice location, close to everything. We are a family of 6 traveling with 4 kids, and there were 2 twins and a queen for them. The gym was adequate for a vacation with dumbbells up to 50 lbs. There were plenty of towels, and also beach towels, and enough blankets, enough trash bags, dish soap, laundry soap. The pots and pans were in decent shape. My only complaints: a) the garage door clicker didn't work, b) there was no salt shaker c) there was no lock on the master bedroom door. With 4 kids, you need a bedroom door lock. I would stay here again for sure.
