Details matter and our stay at Casa de Emdeko was wonderfully filled with attention to details. My wife and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary and the condo was perfect. In addition there was soap, shampoo, and conditioner, plenty of dish soap and dishwasher pods, laundry pods. None of those are a big deal by themselves, but when your host has gone out of the way with the details to make sure your stay is exceptional, it works.

We loved Emdeko 116! Had everything we needed and it was a lovely updated unit. Clean, comfortable, and all around would stay here again. My kid absolutely loved the pool. Only downside was that the salt water pool was closed for maintenance.

The ocean pool is an amazing feature the included in the community. Due to its proximity to the ocean the pool will close to ensure the safety of guests and owners during high surf and will reopen when the pool has been cleaned and balanced. Really well equipped, modernised condo Lovely seawater pool with sun beds & beach area Easy check in with door code On-site parking Good communications from Kona Coast Vacations who manage the property Short drive to main Kona strip with restaurants and shops Good location for exploring the area (Hapuna 45 mins, airport 20 mins, Keahou Harbour for manta ray snorkel 15 mins and easy access to sites further South too like Captain Cook) Lacked a bit of atmosphere, didn’t really see other guests We had good communications from Kona Coast but if you like an onsite reception/ concierge then this is not the place for you

It's great the location made exploring the island convenient and that our team's communications were helpful. The atmosphere does range depending on the time of year you visit. We have many guests who return annually as they love the sense of community offered at Casa De Emdeko. I rented 116 at Casa de Emdeko, and have stayed at that condo building before. We prefer bottom floor and close to the BBQ area and 116 was isolated enough yet steps from the BBQ area. KONA Vacations has our repeat business and we highly recommend them. A 6.0 earthquake hit the first night I was there and Kona Vacations called to check on me twice the next day. All was good with no building damage. For the first week I traveled the island hiking by myself and the second week with my with and daughters family in a different unit. We love the big island and Casa de Emdeko is a great place to use as a temporary home for your vacation.

Nice unit. Complex has 2 pools, once of which appears to be ocean water, and one regular water, and a sand beach without access to the ocean.
