For our 3 generation family, Kona Bay Estates 23 was a perfect configuration of bedrooms and bathrooms. The patio, with the waves crashing right in front of you was where we spent a good part of our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to have lots of space to read, gather and relax. Having a fully equipped laundry was a nice bonus too. The house is as represented in the pictures. The kitchen was well equipped, though the non-stick skillets need replaced. The box on the deck, held beach chairs, sand toys, and some flippers that we appreciated very much. And a nice supply of beach towels was provided too. And a very big plus, due to high humidity at the time, was that the house was air conditioned! My only negative response would be that there is a pervasive musty smell in the kitchen around the desk and toaster cupboard which we wonder might be a water incursion problem. All in all, a beautiful stay in a beautiful place that holds a very special place in all of our hearts. Mahalo The M Family

We’re so glad the bedroom/bath configuration suited your three‑generation family and that you enjoyed watching the waves from the lanai, the fully equipped laundry, and the beach gear and towels. Thank you for noting the kitchen was well stocked. Our departure inspector took note of the non-stick pans and they have been replaced. Please know that we are happy to have new items brought over as they are reported. We have a team dedicated to making guest stays enjoyable and can have new pans brought over once reported. With regards to the odor being reported, the salty ocean air mixed with high humidity can sometimes leave areas smelling a bit damp for a little during the higher humidity and climate times on the island. This typically dissipates as the humidity index decreases, but our cleaning, maintenance, and inspection teams are hyper aware of any dampness and we address it immediately. The issue has been addressed. We enjoyed hosting you folks and are grateful Kona Bay Estates 23 holds special memories for your ohana. Paradise perfected! Awesome ocean and sunset views, with a placid swimming beach steps away. Perfect for kids and adults. Unit was exceptionally well outfitted and clean. Easily walkable to shops and pickleball. Concierge was helpful too. While manta ray snorkel was exciting, lots of people on the boat got sea sick bobbing around in the water.

Exceptional communication. Beautiful home. Great location; whales, beach within walking distance, shopping, and restaurants all close. Absolutely loved our stay!

We loved our stay! The kitchen was very well equipped with pans, utensils, grilling equipment, etc. however be prepared to buy things like olive oil, salt, pepper, etc for cooking. The views were excellent and we saw whales from the back patio. Access to the Queens Bath made for a great snorkeling and swimming spot right out the back door. We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back.

There IS NO BETTER PLACE TO STAY - Full Stop. Kona Bay Estates had everything we needed and wanted. It was right by Keiki Beach, just a short walk down the beach or on the street, which was perfect for my daughter who has disabilities. We wanted an umbrella, check, a salad spinner -check, a 300 piece puzzle and watercolors - a great grill, whatever, This home was great for everyone. We felt safe and central to everything on the island. The most spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, a beautiful and comfortable lanai, a spa, and the house opens up to bring the outdoors in. We will be back and can highly recommend the service and attention to detail of Kona Coast Vacations, as well as the Kona Bay Estates 23 house with the highest of compliments. Absolutely unforgettable, and this was my fourth time to come to Hawaii. I would not hesitate to re-book. (We had three adults and two couples who stayed very comfortably.)

The house was in great shape and in a very convenient location. A few minutes walk to nice little beach and 20 minute walk to town.
