Two outdoor pools! One fresh and one salt water. You could watch the sunset from the saltwater pool, which was at the sea wall. So great views of ocean. The saltwater pool was so good didn't even try the fresh water one. Property is well maintained. Condo was light bright and had a good vibe. Grout needs a good cleaning in bathroom and kitchen. But rest of the kitchen and bath were in great condition. Only warning, if you have neuropathy in your feet, pebble bottom shower is not for you. Condo was well appointed with beach items to use. There was a laundry room available and inexpensive to use. I would stay here again!

We love this condo. We made reservations to return next year. This is the thid year we have stayed in this condo. Beautiful views, the pools are beautiful, the ocean is steps away. We have met many wonderful people there. The condo is nicely furnished and has everything you could possibly want.

The stay at Casa de Emdeko was a wonderful experience. The resort is an older resort with loads of charm. Our accommodations (121) were cute and comfortable with a beachy vibe. The king bed and pillows were so very comfortable, there was a nice large screen TV and a cute kitchen suitable for our food preparation. The air conditioning worked well and it was always cool. There was also a ceiling fan in the bedroom for added comfort. There was a large patio sliding door for a view of the beautiful, well maintained grounds. Also a lanai where we could sit and watch the beautiful tropical birds while we relaxed. As mentioned, the grounds are lovely with 2 fenced pool areas. There is a large cabana towards the back of the grounds where my husband enjoyed free morning coffee daily from 7:00 to 10:00 with another family member. There is a nice sandy beach area with palm trees and numerous lounge chairs with one of the most gorgeous ocean views I have ever seen. It’s was an amazing experience to watch the sunset there nightly. If returning to Kona for another visit, I would definitely stay at this resort again.
