What a wonderful place to stay for our family of four. This condo offered all of the amenities of home, and was so very spacious to boot! With one teenager and one almost-teenager (plus Mom & Dad), everyone was happy with their own space and their own bed. Three bathrooms was a huge bonus! The kitchen was well-stocked with more than you usually would find in a rental. And, there were all kinds of great beach necessities available for our use as well. We loved the ceiling fans at night, and the master bedroom bathroom was HUGE! Lots of extra linens, lots of places for our family to sit and enjoy a movie (cable + DVD player), and this condo is in a very quiet part of the community. We highly recommend the Turtle House!

This is a home away from home, where all amenities have been thought of and are generously provided. Kitchen utensils, dishes & cookware comprehensive; bathroom towels, TP, soap and shampoo; the beds are comfortable and the linen quality; beach towels and snorkeling gear; outdoor seating comfortable (bbq problems); and close to thee necessities such as the beach, petroglyphs, groceries, cafes and easy access to the highway for northern, southern and eastern excursions. Instructions get in were painless.

We stayed in Fairways #1104 from 2/1/18 to 2/24/18. This was our 3rd annual stay in #1104. It is a very clean, well-kept home that is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Last year owners put in a new king-size bed in MB, a new sofa, chairs, wonderful reading lamp for living area and new area rugs. All so well appointed. Linens are always clean, appliances always work and kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and skillets, etc. Porch off dining area and upper lanai look out over the 12th tee box on the Mauna Lani North Course. The grounds of the Fairways complex are beautifully landscaped and the common swimming pool area is comfortable and welcoming. We plan to return in 2019.

This was our fourth visit to this unit on the Big Island. We appreciate its ease of access and privacy. The unit has everything you need to feel at home. The pool is great but we spend most of our time at the Beach Club close to the Mauna Lani resort. The beach is pristine and the snorkeling is amazing. It's proximity to Hapuna State Park and the north part of the island (Waimea and Havi) allow for quick trips to an outstanding market and hiking. Having a grocery store (.3 mi) very close is also convenient. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the lanai upstairs. A perfect Hawaiian retreat. The property is as described and pictured and is a nice set up for 2 couples or family of 4.

This was our third stay at the Turtle House, and we do not see a need to look anywhere else. Four of us (two couples) had plenty of space to relax and enjoy this great resort area. The unit is clean, bright, and up-to-date. The furnishings are very nice, and the kitchen is fantastic. The appliances all worked well, and the back lanai barbecue was exceptionally good. The beds are in great shape and there is ample storage for clothes and anything else you bring. Having a garage is great for any beach toys, umbrellas, etc. And that upstairs lanai, off the master bedroom -- what a great place to watch the sunset colors toward the north end of the island. There are so many great areas close by. Hapuna Beach State Park is a great place to body or body-board surf. Waimea is a great town in the island interior that has an entirely different climate, less than an hour away. The northern coast up to Hawi is great for whale watching, and Hawi itself is a great place for a day trip. Within the resort itself, the Mauna Lani is very nice. It has its own little shopping center, including a grocery store, which is a huge plus.There are some great restaurants and stores. If you like to golf, the courses here will not disappoint you.

We stayed at the lovely Mauna Lani Condo 1104 for a week in February 2016 The furnishings were first class and in excellent condition. The kitchen was immaculate, extremely well equipped with new dishes, cookware, and every gadget one could ever need. I loved the open feeling of the main floor and the easy access to the private lanai. The barbecue was big and very clean and in good working order. The edrooms and large bathrooms upstairs were spacious and beautifully furnished. The interior colors chosen by the owners are happy and tropical and made me smile the moment we walked in the door. The neighborhood is very peaceful and tranquil and we practically had the swimming pool all to ourselves. We would definitely recommend this Condo with two thumbs up and five stars.
