We stayed at Kona Coast for ~2 weeks soon after the Big Island re-opened its doors to travelers without requiring a mandatory two week quarantine. We reserved the spot through VRBO and the entire process was pretty seamless. We filled out a few additional forms through KCV that verified the rental and the rest of the process was a piece of cake. Once we arrived, we quickly realized what a gem we’d found with our KCV rental (B38). We were steps from a private view of the ocean and our unit’s lanai had a great view of the waves and the horizon. We had an ample-sized one bedroom with all the coziness of a home and amenities of a condo (kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, multiple TVs, high-speed internet, BBQ) along with the service that you’d expect from a hotel (freshly washed linens and extra towels, concierge style service and recommendations, responsive help desk, keypad entry, pool). The dedicated parking spot was great - we could drive just about anywhere (beach, grocery store, town center, some of the hiking paths) in just about 10 minutes. And a short 15 minute walk would get you to the best coffee spot - Green Flash Coffee. Love this spot and the staff that supports the place! We were here for a workcation on Pacific Time (worked during the early morning to mid-day, enjoyed the beaches in the afternoon) but somehow KCV made it feel like a true vacation! When we had a momentary drop in internet, they sent someone the same day to have the router replaced - you can’t beat that service! Definitely will stay here again - thank you!

Excellent vacation place with a VIEW! We stayed in 4 different Airbnb condos in the Big Island, and this one is our hands-down favorite. The unit has an ideal location —overlooking the ocean. Everyday, we greeted the day and watched the sun set on the Pacific by the water, just steps from the unit. So lovely! This already is the reason to stay here. But the condo is also very clean, spacious, and comfy (a/c included). Will definitely come back!

The apartment was very nice and has a great view on the ocean. One morning we spotted wild dolphins from the balcony during breakfast. This was incredible. The location gives a good starting point to discover beaches in the north and south on the western side of big island. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Can highly recommend this stay.
