Great property and location. Wonderful views. Only complaint is that internet was slow and unreliable.

This was to be a very very special vacation with my husband and my son and daughter-in-law, so I was hoping that I made the right choice in choosing Villa Kai for our stay. We were not disappointed!!! The description was accurate and actually beyond our expectations. Beautifully appointed home with outrageously stunning views and sunsets every night. A jump into the pool for a morning wakeup and another in the afternoon after a day of activities. We did a fishing charter (didn't catch anything), the "must do" Manta Ray night snorkel, and the Dolphin Encounter snorkel. We also did a coffee plantation tour, Octopus farm, drove to South Point and hiked a partially open Volcano National Park. We BBQ'd local Mahi one night and cooked breakfasts in the well equipped kitchen. It was a perfect location close to shopping and restaurants, yet quiet and private in this gated community. The A/C in the bedrooms made sleep super comfortable and we made use of the handy washer/dryer. Kona Coast called a couple times to check to make sure everything was OK and if we had any questions. A fabulous stay and hopefully we will be back to Villa Kai!

The location and view truly set it apart as for us, there was nothing better than brewing up some fantastic local coffee and sitting in the lanai as you hear and feel the waves breaking against the lava rock while getting to be in paradise. The home and furnishings are gorgeous and we easily found everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The location is perfect for a stay in Kona as there are numerous shopping and dining options nearby. This was the most luxurious vacation we have taken and we cannot wait to do it again.

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. Eight adults all had plenty of room to make our own. The bedrooms were nice and cool, the pool and hot tub and lanai area was so comfortable it made it very hard to get up and explore the island. Loved the large kitchen for cooking. We had a dinner party one night with 13 guests total and had plenty of room and cookware, etc. to make and serve our meal. The location is so convenient. My husband competed in the 70.3 Ironman and we also went on diving and snorkeling adventures, luau's and went shopping and found everything easy to get to. The privacy and security of the beach was nice and the guards all helpful and nice too. I hope we get to return to this house again one day.

Great location and had no issues with the property. We had (2) families and the layout of the house was perfect for (8) people including (3) adults and (5) kids. Was also great when we had guests for several dinners. Had a few minor issues with the microwave not working but in general the house was clean and well maintained. Was only due to our timing but the pool did get a little dirty due to the heavy rains and is only cleaned once a week. Would highly recommend the property as it was close to town and central to all activities. Had a great time at the local beaches with the kids that were a close drive. Also note that the staff was great and the location is secure and very safe. We will definitely be back in the future.

To describe the home and the experience in under 2000 characters would probably do it an injustice and could not even come close to the total experience. The home was well equipped, clean and centrally located to just about everything. I really do not think that you could fine fault with anything and just writing this review makes me want to return. Upon arrival we were somewhat concerned that the main part of the home and master bedroom was not air conditioned, but after the first night those concerns were easily overcome, simply by the ocean breezes and soothing sounds that they created. We would return to Villa kai without hesitation and would highly recommend it and Kona Coast Vacations. The only small negative would be that some of the furnishings are looking tired and that the pool loungers had no padding but again this is being extremely picky.
