Fantastic vacation home with great views and easy access to the beach which is great for small children. the house is well equipped with much more than expected including beach items such as snorkeling gear, beach umbrellas and chairs, boogie boards, and beach toys so don't bring them. the pool and dining on the lanai topped things off at this vacation house Vista Oceania

We had an amazing stay in Kona for the Ironman. The house was the best! Beautiful views, great spaces, indoors and out! So nice to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook great meals. The house is walking distance to everything you could need! Hope to go back and stay there again soon!

This house was perfect for what we needed during race week in Kona. Close enough to walk to town, yet quiet enough to forget you were there! Beautiful vistas, lovely lounging spaces, great kitchen and grill! Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!

As a first-time VRBO user, I was a little concerned how things would go, but I am so glad I trusted the reviews, photos and description for this property. It was AWESOME!! We are a family of five, with a 19, 17 and 16 year old. We all loved this house. The layout is very family friendly, with the master suite on the second floor, separate from the other rooms. The house is super clean and very well furnished. All of the beds were comfy. Our favorite “room” was the second floor outdoor deck, with great breeze, comfy chairs and fantastic views. The house is more than well stocked with household and beach items, and everything is easy to find and labeled; so there is no wondering how to use anything. Also, the photos don’t do the little beach out the back gate justice. When the tide comes in, there is definitely good swimming available, particularly good for smaller kids. The pool is small but nice. The location of the house is also very convenient to downtown Kailua, an easy walk to Alii street, where the main drag stuff happens. If you want to work out, there are also a couple good gym options in walking distance, off of Palani. Finally, there are supermarkets, a Target and Walmart within 5 minute drives and a Costco about a 10 minute drive back toward the airport. Again, we loved this house and would not hesitate to come back again.

The house was gorgeous and the location was perfect. Everything in Kona was within minutes of the home. I would highly recommend this place. The only reason I gave 1 star for communication with the property manager is that he scheduled some work to be done on the house during our stay without informing us ahead of time. The house was booked months in advance and the work was booked weeks in advance so the knew we would be there. The noise and vibration made it impossible to be home during the work. Had we known, we would have scheduled an excursion that day, but of course it was scheduled on a day we had planned to enjoy the home. It lasted 2 days. The management did reimburse us for 1 night of our stay which helped. This is probably an unusual situation, so I would still recommend the home.

From the well maintained grounds to the house itself, we enjoyed the attention to detail that made our days and nights enjoyable. We loved the fact that the pictures from the web were true to what you got. It was also very clean upon our arrival. The furniture was beautiful and very comfortable (including beds, sofa bed and bedding) - no weathered or worn fabrics. There were also plenty of towels. To quote one of us: "Pull-out sofa bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on and very bed-like." The kitchen was well stocked and conducive to cooking in. Many different types of glassware, cookware, dishes, spices, cleaning supplies, and ancillary items. The layout of the house (both indoors and outdoors) tempted us to just lounge around and enjoy the environment. A small sandy beach and tidal pools just in front were especially fun to explore, with a handy access gate directly from the house. The ocean beyond provided the constant soothing sounds of the waves. One other highlight was the nightly viewing of the beautiful sunsets from the well positioned lanai. It was a wonderful stay and a home we wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Definitely a home to recommend. Suggestions: * A full-size ironing board would save time and aggravation (in trying to use the table-top board). * While there were several high-quality smaller skillets in the kitchen, we didn't seem to find a larger one (e.g. 12" diameter).
