This house is literally across the street from an amazing snorkeling beach that also has plenty of space to just lay-out, or hang out in the shade at a picnic table under a pavilion. The house itself is VERY well stocked, was clean, and beautiful. The bedroom walls don't go all the way up so you can see the light from other rooms in your room, and hear everything. This wasn't a big issue for us, but if your group has different wake/sleep times, or you have someone loud with you, this will likely be an issue for you. The beds in the two bedrooms are VERY firm. The daybed in the living room was softer. I have joint issues and had to sleep on the daybed, the other two were way too firm for me. Other than the bed issue, I LOVED this house and location. It was absolutely perfect. The pictures are accurate of the house. The lanai IS that big and the views are amazing.

Location of rental is in an ideal spot. It's away from the main hub (Kailua-Kona) but still easily accessible for an evening out to explore/experience the many fine dining options around. And you can't forget that it's right across from Kahalu'u Beach, a popular spot for learning to surf and snorkel (observed it was popular with the families). Favorite part of the penthouse was the lanai; we enjoyed having such a spacious area for card playing, dinner and watching the sunset after a full day of exploration of the Big Island. -Mahalo

Kona Coast is the best management company I’ve ever worked with. They were amazing and saw to every detail. Especially Elena who was so kind and helpful. The views from the penthouse lanai are incredible. And the snorkeling at that part of the island is second to none. It was an amazing week. Mahalo!!
