Great property, had a fun time! So close to downtown! Views off the lanai were awesome! We will be back! Kids loved the pool, tide pools and beach. The only thing I would have changed is to be able to remove the pool vacuum while my kids were swimming, it was a bit of a safety risk. We made it work though!! And FYI for future renters - hot tub can only be turned up to 100 degrees and only stays on for 3 hours. Not a big deal to us with younger kids, but it was a surprise when we got there.

It was so exciting to be able to travel back to Hawaii! We have stayed in Kona Bay Estates several times and love the location, access to tennis courts, beach and easy walk to restaurants and Kona. The location of this home was awesome especially if you enjoy activity on the beach. Our only disappointment was the pool size (pool appears much larger in picture) and view from the pool (there is a fence with bushes so no view of ocean). However the lanai was awesome with breathtaking sunsets every night. Plenty of shade and room to relax. We made special memories this year.

Stayed at this property for 19 nights in December 2020. The listing on VRBO is accurate and the pictures do a good job bringing the property to life. It’s spacious and well appointed. The location is right on the beach (which wasn’t busy) and is private. Yet you can walk or drive to “downtown” in minutes. The house was great for my group of 6 people and I happily recommend it for others.

We could not have been happier with the property. Fantastic location with stunning views. House was very well stocked and the management company did a great job with the check in process and support while we were there.

The house was beautiful--clean, well laid out and nicely furnished. The second floor lanai was roomy, and we spent much of our time there. The location is perfect, right on the water, with a very short walk to a nice beach that is just right for little kids and also for checking out fish and taking a short swim. The only issue was the small plunge tub next to pool was supposed to heat up to 100degrees, but never got above 80.
