This house was our first Vrbo experience, and it may have ruined our expectations for any future rentals! We received a call letting us the house was ready for check in about an hour before scheduled check in, and when we arrived, the place was immaculate! The backyard and lanai was very well maintained, the the home very well equipped. There were labels on everything, so if there were any quirks with the appliances or air conditioning, we knew what to do from the labels, and we didn't have to contact the property management at all. As parents of a child on the spectrum, we really appreciated the lanai sliding door alarms that we could turn on at night. The view was amazing, and we enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai and beautiful sunsets. The pool and yard team were there the first day, and did a great job. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would do it again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay. Our family of 6 really enjoyed the pool and the views from the backyard. Overall the accommodations was perfect.

We just recently departed from this property so my review is fresh. We would rate this the best property we've stayed at in Kona, that is still in the vrbo-market. We were pleasantly surprised that the pantry was fully stocked with spices, which cleaning crews tend to clear away those that you purchases while on your stay. The welcome gift bag from the management agency was also pretty outstanding. We've taken the spices given in that bag onto our next part of our trip! The bedrooms and living spaces are exactly as described in the picture. The living/dining spaces are slightly smaller than many places we usually rent, but the covered lanai made up for the those aforementioned spaces. Kitchen island is extremely large, which was also a secondary eating/working area for those having to use their laptops. We usually visit Kona every 2-3 years and certainly would look for this property the next time we come back.

Property is 5 min from Kailua and easy to get to. There are two large bins by the pool, and one by the side of the house with pool inflatables (and a handy pump!), boogie boards, and a couple of low beach chairs. House and yard are extremely well maintained. Kitchen has everything. Watch the water level in the plunge pool though. It seemed to go down a couple of inches each night (slow leak maybe or evaporation?), and if the level gets too low it makes a loud sucking sound the neighbors can hear and won’t like. Just add water from the convenient hose. I recommend staying here without hesitation!

We had a fantastic stay at Kamilo House! It is an amazing house, that was a perfect fit for our family of six. We spent a LOT of time swimming in the pool and running around the yard, and ending each day chilling by the pool, grilling some dinner, and watching the sunset over the ocean framed by beautiful palm trees really can't be beat. The house had everything we needed, was in beautiful condition, and the location was great for us to explore the Big Island. Would highly recommend this house, and we would love to visit again!

This property is one of the most beautiful places we've rented around the world. Breathtaking views and the home is immaculate. The neighborhood was well maintained and secure and very peaceful.
