We stayed in Sea Village 3204 for a week in December 2022. It is a great one-bedroom unit with balcony overlooking the courtyard and ocean. Exactly like the picture shows. Location just south of Kona is perfect. Not far to drive for lunch or dinner to Kona or Keauhou. It is decorated tastefully. Everything was clean (except the tile floor, from volcanic ash, more on that later) and the kitchen has everything you need to cook (pans, utensils, etc.) and is very well organized. There were also new small bottles of mustard, mayo, olive oil and a few other items in the cabinet. The furniture is comfortable as well as the king-size bed in the bedroom. The portable AC units worked out great for us. We turned them off if we were out of the unit and when we got back it did not take much time to cool off. In the evening and morning, it was cool enough outside to open the sliding doors and turn the AC off. We did not have sun shining directly in the unit. The pool and hot tub are kept very clean. They are well used, but not loud and crazy. The pool is in a beautiful area, next to the ocean with a lava wall separating it from the ocean and the crashing surf. We witnessed many beautiful sunsets here at the pool listening to the crashing surf. The courtyard is beautiful with tropical plants and grass and of course the pool in a gated area. It has four nice grills and 8 concrete picnic tables. Lots of people like to grill in this complex, but no problem getting a grill. The staff is out early cleaning the grills and tables everyday. The grounds are very well kept. I saw a pair of cardinals almost every day in the courtyard. There was work going on in the unit above us during our stay, but we hardly heard it. If the AC was on this would drown out any noise from above. The only problem we had with the unit was the tile floor was dirty with a layer of black dust when we arrived. The next morning, I called Kona Coast Vacations and they sent their housekeeping staff over within about 20 minutes to mop the floors and the balcony. They said it was ash from the volcanos that has been in the air. We were pleased with how quickly it was taken care of. Mahalo, Kona Coast Vacations! It is a big plus to have KVC on the island to help you out right away. Great customer service! I will rent from KVC from now if possible. We hope to stay in this unit again. It was perfect for us.
