The property and unit were exactly as described and perfect for our goals of relaxing and exploring the big island. As a bonus the lockers had a lot of equipment that allowed us to go to beaches and snorkel without having to buy/rent equipment, ice chests, chairs, etc. It is all there! (even sand toys if we had little ones with us). Would recommend highly and definitely return here!

We had a fabulous time at Casa De Emdeko! The location couldn't be more perfect, within a few minutes drive of the waterfront area in Kona and a great spot right on the water for epic sunsets! If you enjoy sunset, this complex is for you. Sunsets are an event in Kona, with what seems like everyone setting up for a viewing each night. The pools are fantastic, the common space is beautiful and the neighbors are friendly. The condo, itself is well-equipped and the air conditioner worked well for us. I've seen in other reviews that folks were hot, but we didn't run into the same issue. We appreciated the in-unit laundry and the ability to relax on the lanai or in the living each evening after a full day of exploring the island. We'd absolutely stay in this unit or this complex again. We had an amazing time.

Love the property and views from the terrace. Not good to be on second or 3rd floor units if you can't handle steps to lug luggage. Nice grounds and BBQ area. No beach close but great sunsets. Not a problem for us so we'll be back.

Nice accommodations, nice location. My 7 y/o had a blast at the property and the beach/snorkeling spots that were close.

This property is the perfect getaway for the couple that wants to have a quiet vacation in Hawaii. It was laid back, not crowded at all. Great views from the patio, refreshing pool for the best sunsets. Understand why some of their guests have stayed 8 times

The grounds of the complex was beautifully maintained and we loved the salt water pool! Our condo was very clean and was well stocked with everything you need for a great day at the beach. My only complaint was that a lot of water ended up on the bathroom floor while taking a shower and the bed sheets were worn. It’s probably time for a new set. Other than that we had a lovely time.
