The condo was clean and spacious. The views and sunsets were spectacular. Only issue was there was remodeling going on below us. Not the fault of the owners.

We had an enjoyable stay at Casa de Emdeko unit 318. The condo was comfortable, including the Murphy bed, and had a great view of the ocean. We appreciated all the extras that the owner had available like boogie boards, chairs, cooler etc. Excellent cookware and knives. We liked how laid back it was there.  The water issues were a little annoying. I felt that Kona Coast did a good job communicating when water would be shut off but I feel like the maintenance staff at the condo should have known that when the hot water is turned off, the shower will not work. The plumber who was called to the condo was rude and spoke to me as if I should have known that. I guess he was not happy about being called for nothing.  I definitely appreciated being able to book directly with Kona Coast. We always try to book direct whenever possible to avoid the excessive fees the platforms charge. We will be glad to book through you again in the future. 

Beautiful property in Casa De Emdeko. Perfect location.

Everything was great. We stayed in Casa de Emdeko 318. Only 2 small issues. 1. I indicated on the reservation it was for 4, and I believe I provided the ages of my teens. We obviously needed the Murphy bed. We arrived around 10 pm and had to search for sheet to make up the bed. Second, the blinds in the bedroom do not really block out the light from the lighted hallway outside. I would wake at 3am and think it was morning due to how light it was. Everything else was fantastic and would stay again and recommend. Response from Kona Coast Vacations: Mahalo nui for providing this feedback on your stay! For all of our properties equipped and advertised to have either a murphy bed or sofa sleeper will also be provided with linens. We don't make up those extra sleeping arrangement because not all guests will use them. I'll be sharing your feedback on the bedroom blinds will our maintenance dept. We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Emdeko 318. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and has a beautiful ocean view we enjoy daily! The condo pictures and description is accurate and it has everything we needed. The living room is pretty large and the murphy bed is very comfortable. So is the bedroom furniture. The closet is stuffed with beach furniture, water masks, water shoes, etc. It seems like the owners thought of everything and we are very grateful to them. We had an issue with an AC that we had difficulty turning on and the maintenance staff was very responsive to help us. The convenience store is steps away which we found very convenient. The apartment has central AC and cools off every room. We highly recommend this condo and will definitely stay there again! Thank you Anna Budnyatsky Irvine, CA

We loved our stay. We will be back again this fall. This condo had all the amenities of home and the resort was beautiful. We have stayed at many places in Kona and this is by far our favorite.
