Our family of 8, ages 8-75 yo, had an incredible stay at this home. Very well stocked and comfortable with a view that cannot be beat. The bedrooms are all en suite and it was truly the perfect house for us. Waking up to that view and going to bed every night after watching the sunset is something that we will all always remember!

The photos don’t do it justice. The home is very large and rooms are perfect. We will go again. Thank you.
It’s always an honor when a guest provides us with a 5-star review. Thank you for taking the time to recap your stay! We’re so happy to hear that you were able to relax and enjoy your time.

When planning our trip to Hawaii with another couple, we were referred to Kona Coast Vacations by a friend who promised we would not be disappointed. Our thoughts were the 4 of us could stay together rather than try to book adjoining rooms in some mystery hotel. We chose a 4B5B home for the 4 of us (some of us snore). Upon arrival, to say we were more than pleasantly surprised was an understatement. The house was drop dead gorgeous-immaculate, inside and out; well manicured grounds; patio with 70 foot pool; outdoor grill; beautifully decorated inside; great kitchen if you wanted to eat in; high enough on a hill for sweeping and unobstructed ocean views and sunsets; quiet location. The property owner put together a book for guests with recommended restaurants, attractions and other things not to miss while on the island. Not a dud on the list of things to do, lol. We’d start the day with coffee on the patio watching the cruise ships in the ocean while deciding on where we were going that day. We would also recommend taking one of those all day tours of the island and you’ll be able to cross several attractions off the list. One of our best vacations, would highly recommend Kona Coast Vacations to anyone visiting Hawaii. Joe and Diane Shai Boston, MA

Aloha! We had an Amazing trip to the Big Island and this VRBO was Fabulous!! The view is breathtaking. The house is amazing! We were close to grocery stores, eateries, art galleries and more! The Island has so much to do! Rent a jeep and go see the green beach. The black beach was amazing too! The Host of this house was amazing from his recommendations to the art work on all of the walls, to the amenities. This is a must stay vacation spot. I’m home now and I miss this place already! Have a wonderful vacation!
Aloha, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We are so pleased you had a great stay and that you loved this home. We hope you can come back someday! Mahalo, Kona Coast Vacations

This home is stunning. The pictures on the web site are of course useful when selecting a property to rent, but they do not do the property justice. The photos really don't convey the beauty of the architecture of this home, its interior, and its grounds. It's on a hill with practically a 180 degree view of the coastline below. You view the sunset on a daily basis across the pool from the deck and just about anywhere on the first floor interior and upper bedrooms. The pool area and back yard are completely private. The pool is large enough to do serious laps if that's your form of exercise. There is a lot of space in this home. It easily holds four couples. There are two very large suites with large bathrooms upstairs and two smaller bedrooms, again with their own bathrooms downstairs. There is also a half-bath and laundry room. There is a very large, well equipped modern kitchen with seating around the counter and a large glass-topped table in an open space for breakfast. For larger groups or more formal events there is a dining room with a spectacular custom designed table. All of these rooms have a view of the pool area and ocean. The home architecture and the furnishings are modern, with flare, and in a style that's frankly impressive. It's tough to convey in words how beautiful this home was. Though there is plenty to do on the island, and this home is well situated to get to all the spectacular sites, you will want to spend some time just relaxing by the pool. Now on to some basics. The home is in a gated community with a 24-hour security guard at the gate, not that this level of security appeared needed at all anywhere on the island. It's surrounded by other spectacular homes. WIFI is strong and fast. All appliances are modern and clean. You can find an extension cord if you hunt in the cabinets and there appears to be quite a bit of snorkel gear in the garage that we borrowed. I even found a very good flashlight and batteries in case you needed it. The owner was very helpful by leaving a booklet of his favorite local beaches, restaurants and places near and far to visit. We used many of these recommendations and they saved us a lot of time and effort had we had to do the research ourselves. Kona Coast Vacations was also very helpful and provides a concierge whom we used at no charge and with no additional cost to the activities he booked. The home was spotless and there was a little welcome package with local cookies, coffee, honey, etc. to get us going before we shopped at a very large grocery store nearby. There are many good restaurants nearby as well. If that's not your thing, the kitchen has more cookware than I have in my home, plus there is a BBQ. We wished we could have stayed there forever.
