Clean and well appointed condo, loved snorkeling across the street.

We stayed on the 3rd floor of this rental. There are two units on the second floor. The 3rd floor has an elevator which is super helpful for transporting luggage, groceries, and snorkeling gear! Rental was very clean and well stocked with beach and snorkeling items. The two bedrooms were nice and perfect for a family of four with a 9 and 11 year old. The lanai was incredible with beautiful beach, surfing, and sunset views. The unit had all the pots, pans, and utensils you would need but there isn’t much for cooking basics other than salt and pepper. No coffee, oil, condiment, or other consumables so be sure to bring it with you. Air conditioning is hard to come by in rentals but this unit has 3. One in each bedroom and one in the living area. The living area unit is t up to the task to cool the area so we left it off. It is also on the same breaker as the TV, internet, and bathroom lights which is only 15Amps so it would pop the breaker. The bedroom ACs will cool the rooms down if the doors are closed and the fans are off. The ceilings are open, so you don’t want the fans to pull in hot air from the rest of the house. Just let the cooler air settle with the doors closed. The “den” bedroom cools down the best. We only used the AC at night, the rest of the time we just opened all the doors and windows. The upper windows can be opened with a metal pole with a hook on it that is in one of the closets. This will let plenty of air flow. We would definitely stay again!

In general, this is a lovely property and the lanai is utterly spectacular. Per usual KCV was extraordinarily prompt at fixing the small issues that cropped up. The checkout instructions did not mention the fridge--we chose to leave the perishables, hoping the cleaning crew would make sure they were put to good use. In our final check we found a knee brace and a pair of shoes that were not ours, so we also just left those. This property had everything you could need in a Hawaiian vacation home. Beds were super comfortable, the deck (lanai) was spectacular. The breeze and fans in every room made it so comfortable, we never needed to use the air conditioning.

My wife and I enjoyed this unit so much. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed to cook. The location can’t be beat as you have a gorgeous view of the ocean and can watch the surfers all day. The deck facing the ocean is large and it’s a 2 minute walk across the way to sit at the beach or snorkel. We recommend this unit as an excellent location. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed.
