Beautiful ocean front property!

we had a wonderful stay - listing was as described and the view from the balcony was really nice; we could see the whales from there. overall a nice place to stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for just the 2 of us. It was clean with great amenities.

Had a great time staying at Kona Makai 4202. Parking was ample and check in was a breeze. The condo was well equipped and complex was beautiful. Can be cozy with neighbors on other lanais but to be expected in Hawaii. We had an exceptionally obnoxious neighbor yelling loudly and profanely for a very long time. One call to Kona Coast Vacations management and the situation was quickly resolved and no more problems. A couple suggestions for the condo itself: a new mattress would be welcomed, a bigger and smart tv mounted on the wall so the AC isn’t blocked by furniture. Everything else was perfect.

I'd like to start by simply saying that we're not big travellers and usually never add reviews. However, in the case of Kona Coast Vacations and Kona Makai 4202, we absolutely have to tell everyone how amazing this vacation was for our 10th Anniversary. Let me say right up front, if you are looking for a good party spot condo, this is not it. Yes, there are numerous rules but they apply to the entire complex, renters and owners alike. It makes for a very quiet and peaceful location. The gated complex adds a level of security which was comforting, if that matters. The condo itself was very clean, great laid out and so well equipped that there is almost nothing needed other than food. This was important for us because we prefer making our own meals rather than eating out. And yes, the bed was extremely comfortable! The location and distance to downtown Kailua-Kona could not be much better. we had a 1 km walk to a small sandy beach and then another 1/2 km to the stores. It's exactly 3 km to the end of the pier. If you enjoy walking, this is fantastic. In fact, we were pleasantly shocked and amazed at the active walkers & runners out on Ali'i Drive every morning at 6am. The process of booking through Kona Coast Vacations was very easy and hassle free. The icing on the cake was dealing with David (Kona Concierge) who was a wealth of knowledge and assistance in planning & booking our tours. If we ever get an opportunity to to return, we will not hesitate to book through Kona Coast Vacations. Thank you, Nicole & David
