My family enjoyed our stay here. We chose a room with the balcony facing the water and it was fabulous. My teens shared the pull out sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped and there were even full ice trays in the freezer. We explored the rocks and small tide pools right in front of the rental and also enjoyed the pool.

This unit has jaw dropping sunset views that we enjoyed nightly. Even though we stayed in it in December, weather was quite warm (85 degrees) so having A/C and ceiling fans was delightful! It was our first visit to Big Island so having concierge to help us book luau and parasail was very helpful. Had I known that parking pass to Volcano National Park was good for several days, we would have planned to visit twice (day trip and night trip). There was so much to explore! We will be back for sure. The only negative was upon arrival to the unit, we were greeted with horrible stench of rotting fish. We called property management who returned our call right away. However, since it was a Sunday evening no one could come til the next day to resolve it. We couldn't stand the smell so we investigated ourselves and and found that the smell was coming from garbage disposal. We went to Walmart and purchased cleaner and did 3 treatments to remove the smell ourselves. No one ever got back to me. We the sound of ocean waves. -------------------- Aloha Donnabel, Thank you for sharing your stay with us at Kona Coast Vacations. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced. We will look into where the communication was lost with our team. This should have never happened. Mahalo, Kona Coast Vacations

The condo is clean and comfortable with great views of the ocean . We especially enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon sunsets on the lanai. Location is great--close to town and right next to a nice sandy beach. As other reviews have noted, the AC can be a bit loud at times, but overall this was a great place to stay and we would definitely return.

I am happy to send you feedback on our stay this past March in Kona Reef A36. We were very pleased with the unit. Happy to find the two chairs in the living room that are not in the picture. One night we were locked out, but pleased to report that our call to your emergency number was answered right away and the lady who answered was able to reset our door code immediately on the phone. All our interactions with Kona Coast were very positive. Can’t wait to stay with you again. Thank you.
