We had an amazing stay! The condo was clean, elegant, and comfortable - wonderful and more spacious than it appears in the photos. The location is unbeatable - we hardly got into our car and walked to the beach within minutes, as well as walked to the resort next door for dinner each night. I loved being able to walk over there for a coffee in the morning or for some shopping - it made us feel like we had all the benefits of staying in a resort, yet with a huge suite with two bedrooms and a kitchen which would be several thousand a night if it were in the hotel. The views from the unit are incredible, and walking amongst the historical fishponds on a daily basis was dreamy. The kitchen is well appointed, just keep in mind that due to big island heat and humidity, they cannot keep any sugar/oil/spices/etc in the cabinets so make sure you grab what you need from the market. We brought sugar packets and creamers from the plane for our first morning! We didn't have any bug problems and diligently followed the rules about taking out trash and cleaning counters after each food prep, wiping away sugar straight away after morning coffee and putting things in the dishwasher. The AC works really well and we tried to save energy by only using in in the afternoons if we were in the unit, and at night for sleeping. We found that turning it off in the morning the unit would stay cool until at least 4pm, the sliding doors open and breezes coming off the lagoon were so pleasant. We will definitely be back and would love to hear about any special rates throughout the year, KCV!

Beautiful property, great location. Be aware that the condo is designed for extremely tall people. You will need to take advantage of a step stool if you are not really tall, including reaching the refrigerator shelves, the bed in master bedroom, etc

Property was decorated to give you the Hawaiian feel inside as well as you look at the outside. One minor issue resolved right away. Short walk to a nice beach with chairs and cabana available to people who stayed at Mauna Lani Terrace.

I highly recommend this property. I was a little nervous going in with a couple of the past reviews…however we did not see a single ant while there nor did I feel like furniture was worn. We felt this was an idyllic place to stay for our week in Hawaii. The pool was mostly quiet (I had the pool to myself for my morning lap swims), loved walking to the beach club for a cabana and then some lunch, and then loooved the short walk over to the beautiful Mauna Lani resort. We went there for drinks, dinner, etc. The grounds are all gorgeous. The lanai has the most beautiful view and perfect for watching the sunset. Fav spots close by: Lava Lava Beach Club, Canoe House, Kukio Beach.

My family loved our time here. Great setup. Beautiful view from the condo, beautiful walk to the beach club with amazing snorkeling, walking distance to a couple hotels and nearby plaza for groceries/restaurants. Only issue was the screen doors don’t fully close to lock/seal out bugs (no big deal) and not a direct sunset view from the lanai (great excuse to sit on the provided beach lounge chairs a short walk away and closer than the beach club). Would love to come back!
