Hello! I wanted to reply to tell you that we absolutely loved the property during our stay in Hawaii. It had everything we needed, was incredibly clean and the location and grounds were so beautiful! We really did love Hale Pohaku and felt like we would love to stay there again in the future.

10/10. We visit Kona every year, usually around the same week every year and this is our go to spot. We love it here, the little beach feels almost private right outside of the unit, perfect for little kids. Already booked our trip for next year!

We had a wonderful time visiting the Big Island of Hawaii. The condo was just what we had hoped for. The view, once you walk through the front door, is amazing! We really enjoyed sipping coffee in the morning and listening to the waves And watching the sunset in the evening from the balcony. So peaceful! The king sizes beds were comfortable. The condo was well equipped from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Plenty of towels and beach towels. there is no AC but with the brezze and the ceiling fans we didn't need it. The location of being a short 2 mile walk to Kona and a 1 mile walk to Magic Beach was great for us. We will definitely rent this unit again.

Hale Pohaku 1 is an awesome property where you can hear the ocean from any room including the master suite. The kitchen was well equipped and even had storage containers with lids which saved us from using plastic bags for leftovers. The lanai furniture was comfortable and we spent many happy hours on the lanai, dining, watching the ocean and viewing pods of dolphins. Sunsets were gorgeous and since we couldn’t beat the view anywhere, we dined in most of the time. Plenty of closet space with enough hangers for our clothes. Best little washer and dryer we have ever had in a vacation rental. We have visited Hawaii many times and this place is at the top of the list.

This unit is very clean and well decorated and well stocked kitchen with every type of necessity. The patio is superb as is the view to the west and the sunsets. Being a first floor unit with the pool at the ground level below, still had this patio above those walking to the small beaches and it felt very secure. I would suggest later into April or May if looking for warmer sunshine!

The ocean view from this deck is above and beyond one's expectations. Everything from jumping fish, leaping whales, pounding waves, lava rock walks, small sandy beach and the most gorgrous sunsets are included.
