This condo was clean and comfortable and the view was great. My only suggestions would be to add a shelf for a toiletries bag in the bathroom as well as a hand towel bar as the sink/countertop is small. Also, a small dining table inside would be nice.

The Kona Reef has such a great proximity to downtown. We have stayed here three times now and have never had a bad stay. The condos are aging but are in great shape and have everything you need. Will be back!

We've stayed at the Kona Reef several times. The property is perfect for a quick swim and lounge by the pool. The BBQ area is comfortable and inviting. The evening sunset vigil by the residents is a lovely experience. The one bedroom units are cozy for two. We appreciated having some spices, oils and coffee filters from other visitors stays. In January humpbacks cruised on by. The dolphins were a little more shy and or the high surf hid their daily swim by the complex.

I wanted to write and thank you for a wonderful stay @ The Kona Reef. The grounds were really nice, if understated. Nice pool and a great BB-Q area. Room A-15 is in fine shape, and no nickle and diming us w/ accessories like towels and paper. Having in-unit laundry was sure convenient for our long trip. Everything real clean and everything worked great! We had a very stressful trip and were going bananas trying to find the place (wifey wrote the office address, not the Reef) and your gal calmed us and made it all so easy on the phone. (try getting the other guys to answer the phone after 5PM) When there was a small problem with the tub, the repair guy took care of in an hour or so. If you like ocean sounds, this is your place, sometimes we had to close the sliding door to be able to hear the t.v. Nice little, uncrowded beach park next door. Plenty of parking once you realize they mean it when they say take any open spot. Even alot of covered parking. Upgraded appliances were nice for the little cooking we did. But then you're only about 200 yards from the Kailua/Kona promenade so why cook? You betcha I'll be going back, and I'm telling all my friends. By the way, if A-15 isn't available, I will certainly be checking with Kona Coast Vacations for another place to stay because I can truly say, having stayed in many different hotels, motels and other accommodations, You guys are the best. I've never had better treatment by the staff, which includes sending my meds, which along w/ some paperwork were left behind. So thank you to the whole crew, and we'll be seeing you
