It has stunning views right on the ocean where you could see whales from the balcony in the perfect location for snorkeling right down the street just minutes from some of the best restaurants!

Everything is so well done and spotlessly clean. The only negative was that the freezer door kept sticking closed and the ice maker didn't work. Kona Coast office staff was very pleasant to deal with about it but the repair guy still didn't fix it properly by the time we left. Hopefully they'll have it repaired in time for the next renters! Overall though the place was great and really well equipped for everything that you need for a comfortable stay while on the Big Island.

We had a wonderful three weeks which was only slightly spoiled by the renovation noise of the unit next door and another across the way. The hurricanes were neutralized by the volcano, so Keauhou and Kailua incurred no storm wrath at all. We have great photos of the pounding surf taken off the lanai. The Wi-Fi worked good and the stereo surround sound in every room playing Hawaiian melodies was an ongoing pleasure. Everything is new and stainless steel and granite, new tile and carpet. Ceiling fans in every room, even the baths. The property manager told me this is the nicest unit in Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club. It appears he is right.
